OnePlus May take ColorOs and Optimise it much further were OnePlus it's good for 👍 In future device you might get diff in Oppo and OnePlus devices Sft performance of same specs devices know some efforts will be putted by Oneplus to grow brand reputation again because of ColorOs entering the game 👍

If One Plus brings a similar model with oxygen os it will be great!

well in china OP used to ship with color OS from starting.. I agree that oxygen OS won't be same as before but in India it will ship with oxygen OS with changes ( as we might have already seen) so NO, in India we are not getting Oppo like color OS in Oneplus phones! Cheers!

I'm using one plus 7 pro from last 2 years and honestly it's working awesomely, super smooth 6.7'' display ,nice speaker voice and fast processing ❣️ fully satisfy from OnePlus on Samsung

First changing the premium and most loved stock OS to oxygen OS and then again changing it to color OS has surely degraded the user experience and this will surely affect the market of one+

I have used Oppo device n one thing i can say is that color os 11 was great to use . So in OnePlus device also i expect same fluidity as Oppo devices . So OnePlus going with Oppo software is awesome ..

Just a random thought:- Imagine Realme and Xiaomi merging for aggressive pricing.

Requirement: Phone with Automatic call recording feature without notification to other party:
So far phones like Redmi and One plus were having automatic call recording feature wherein no third party was notified
Now for OnePlus - Nord does not have any option and OnePlus 9 has this feature if one plus dialer APK is used which is unofficial
Also heard for Redmi now it ships with native google dialer so it informs other party while recording
So Based on phones available in market which phones / brands / OS have still auto call recording feature which does not notify third party?
Looking for mid-range phone.
(Samsung I believe still provides auto call recorder without notifying but its not value for money vis a vis other phones)

My first OnePlus phone was the OnePlus 3T which was great in every aspect. At present I'm using OnePlus 9 (5G) which is also performing well. One of the main reasons for me to buy the OnePlus phone was their Oxygen OS. But now they have shifted to Color OS and recently I got this OS installed in my OnePlus 9 through an update. I don't like it at all. I was never a fan of such OS and that's why I never liked Redmi, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo phones. But now OnePlus has also joined them. This OS has taken away the premium feel of OnePlus that I had felt earlier. So this OnePlus 9 will be my last OnePlus phone and in future I will move to Google Pixel or other brands which provides stock android.

after oppo + OnePlus merge and colour os in OnePlus , OnePlus is dead for me and for many . Saying this is an OnePlus 9R owner

I can say I won't pay too much for one plus but using same OS on Reno6 same Android 12.1😅😄😄

First oneplus phone I didn't liked just because of the app drawer oneplus phones was looking very good by circle apps but they changed it I think circle apps are much more better

When OnePlus 10 Pro will launch in India, it will definitely come with Oxygen OS (though with some Color OS feelings 😅). And I think OnePlus should include the Telephoto Camera in the OnePlus 10 as well.

Guys give me some advice should I upgrade to this phone as I am currently using OnePlus 7 and now the oxygen OS is almost gone should I still consider OnePlus phones.
Or should I go with iPhone series or pixel 6 series.

I loved 1+ as brand not just coz of software but also everything else, but after the merger with Oppo i just hated. TBH i knew this would happen and hence the disappointment didnt hit that hard. But yeah it still hurts. Loved the Oxygen OS in short.

I have entered to the OnePlus family through the NORD series due to only the oxygen OS only & I was thinking to upgrade. But after knowing that Oxyzen OS will be no more in this model then I have to think twice before buying.

I don't think that OnePlus will be able to continue it's legacy in near future. It is going to become second blackberry. It's itself going towards downward by adapting color os and making these kind of cheap quality smartphones, there was a time when they came with OnePlus 5t, OnePlus 6pro, OnePlus 7 pro. These were really good smartphones and any company was unable to battle with them but now it's going reverse. I don't know what's the future of OnePlus.

Well, I upgraded my 9 Pro to Android 12 - and ever since that update, I dislike it to the core. Tbh, I have started to like using my OnePlus 5 (on which I've installed Pixel Experience with Android 12) more than the 9 Pro right now. That whole experience that the devices were known for is gone.

I'm using OnePlus nord. And I've decided Nord is my last phone from OnePlus.

I am using the one plus 3T for a period of 5 years now and it is still working absolutely fine(Power of Oxygenos) The two things which I loved about oneplus was alertslider and oxygen os but now after this color os update I don't think I'm going to buy oneplus phone ever again
